You run into Knox people where you least expect. I AM KNOX
Lori Sundberg, a 1995 Knox College graduate who has taught at Knox and is currently a vice president of Carl Sandburg College, is named president of Carl Sandburg College effective July 2010.
Knox College has been awarded a challenge grant of $850,000 from the National Endowment for the Humanities to support the Lincoln Studies Center at Knox College. It is is the third-largest among this year's grants and the largest to any educational institution.
Knox College restores one of the largest paintings of famed artist George Rickey. Known for his massive "kinetic sculptures," Rickey painted the mural at Knox in the 1940s.
Theatre reviewers note outstanding work by Knox College faculty in directing, acting and design, in Vitalist Theatre's Chicago production of "The Night Season."
Knox College has elected physician Dr. Clarence Parks to the Board of Trustees. A Knox graduate, he is an internist, pediatrician and educator in Chicago. 
There's no better stamp of approval for a college than when its alumni send their children to their alma mater. And at Knox, 31 members of the Class of 2013 were legacies, or students who followed a relative to Knox.
