Old Main seen through the leaves of a tree.

More than 400 years after the first enslaved Africans were brought to the American colonies, many people in the United States have finally reached a moment of widespread awareness of and reckoning with the issue of systemic racial injustice. Achieving racial equality and creating a truly inclusive community requires continuous effort, dialogue, and education.

Writer Alyssa Klein and activist and filmmaker Sarah Sophie Flicker compiled this list with over 75 anti-racism resources in 2020, and as we uncover further resources for anti-racist education we expand it. Knox College is sharing the resources to help students, parents, faculty, and staff deepen their understanding of the pervasiveness of racism, the experiences of people of color, and what they can do to eliminate racial disparities locally and globally.

If you haven’t engaged in anti-racism work in the past, start now.
